Draft noticeThis is a draft prepared as a starting point for the website rebuild. Spindles Woodturning and Stairs Parts should have these terms reviewed by a solicitor before they are relied upon for any sale or contract.
About us
These terms apply to orders placed with Spindles Woodturning and Stairs Parts, a family wood turning business trading from Unit 3, Crossley Mills, Honley, Holmfirth, West Yorkshire HD9 6PL. Contact: 01484 666 333 · info@spindleswoodturning.com.
By requesting a quote or placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below.
Quotes
All prices on the website are indicative. Every order is quoted bespoke based on profile, timber, size and quantity.
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, after which timber and material costs may have changed and a fresh quote will be required.
Bespoke orders
Every piece is hand-turned to order. Where the order involves a custom profile, a sample piece will be turned and sent for sign-off before any volume run begins. The order is not committed to volume until that sample is approved in writing (or by email).
Because each piece is made to specification, bespoke and custom-turned items are not returnable except where they are defective on arrival.
Pricing & payment
Unless stated otherwise, prices are quoted in GBP and exclude VAT.
Payment terms for trade accounts are agreed at the time of opening the account. For one-off orders, payment is due on receipt of invoice prior to dispatch.
Bulk-order discounts are available — please ask at the time of quoting.
Delivery
We deliver across the United Kingdom by carrier or palletised freight, depending on order size. Delivery costs are quoted separately.
Lead times quoted are estimates given in good faith. We will flag any change to a booked-in lead time as early as possible. We are not liable for indirect losses arising from delivery delays.
Cancellation
Bespoke and custom orders may be cancelled without charge up until the cutter is drawn for the volume run. After this point, work-in-progress is invoiced at the agreed rate.
Stock items, where applicable, may be cancelled before dispatch.
Liability
Our liability under these terms is limited to the value of the relevant order.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law.
Complaints
If something is not right with your order, please contact us first by phone on 01484 666 333 or by email at info@spindleswoodturning.com so we can put it right.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
